Seymour Guado, at your humble service... I am Maester the Church of Yevon and leader of the Guado.
You wish to be free of the sorrow and pain of life? Please...allow me to grant that wish, and grant you release.
Catching Elephant is a theme by Andy Taylor
And you are lucky I did not kill out of reflex. [tugs her fingers through her locks, squeezing out the water] As you wish— but why do you tease me so? I daresay you would have thrown me into the ocean had you had the opportunity while we were at the beach…
And can you? Well, there is another lesson I do not look forward to, if you deign to teach it.
How unfortunate…
I tease you because your reactions are rather amusing. -furrows his brow- …If I had tried to throw you into the water, I feel as if parts of my skin or hair would have gone in with you.
Yes, I can. You aren’t a very excitable person, are you?
Unfortunate—? [frowns, but shakes her head] I am glad I can serve as your entertainment, I suppose. But surely you have other ways to bring a smile to your face instead of, say, drenching me? [begins to squeeze the water out of her uniform]
But you have that assumption correct, yes. And— [rolls her eye] Forgive me, but I was not jesting when I said I do not like water; it has dampened my spirits, if you will. [glances at him] If you really desire to teach me, whether it be dance or swimming— and I hope dance— then by all means. I simply did not take you to be serious.
That was the first idea that came to mind. Only trying to drench that fiery attitude a bit. -gives a small smile-
Maybe someday I will teach you. I’ve nothing else to do here.
Very well. I would not want to harm your robes. Indeed? [tilts her head] I look forward to it.
-glares at her- Quit that. Well, I suppose you have much to learn about me.
